Two workers. Same trade, same hours, same paycheck. One leaves behind a complete, defensible record of everything he touched — the other leaves behind a timesheet.
One identity, every module
Every user is a single profile linked to the equipment they're assigned, the vehicle they drive, the work orders they complete, and the crew they run.

Cole is a full DropShield User — every module tied to his name. Add hourly workers, day labor, or rotating crew as time-only workers and they're still wired into 15+ systems with no login, no seat, and no email: one 4-digit PIN and a QR badge link them to hours, jobs, costs, invoices, safety records, coaching, and a reliability score.
DropShield User

Senior Field Supervisor
DropShield User · Full app access
Eleven live data feeds tied to Cole's profile — every action, inspection, and asset assignment is timestamped and audit-ready.
90 days of perfect DVIRs, on-time clock-ins, zero overdue returns, and 3 flagged Safety Saves — every signal auto-logged, no foreman data entry required.
Recognition · EN
"Cole — 96/100 this quarter. Your Floor 7 harness catch prevented a recordable. Bonus-eligible under your company's Platinum tier this pay period. Keep leading."
Insurance-Ready Export
One-click PDF: Cole's 90-day inspection log, DVIR history, cert expirations, and clean-day count — the same packet your carrier asks for at renewal.
Full-User depth = every action becomes a bonus lever, a coaching moment, or an insurance line item. Non-users can't generate this record themselves.
Time Only Worker

General Labor
Crew Member · No app seat
Jordan has no login, no seat, and no email — just a 4-digit PIN and a QR badge. That single credential still links him to hours, jobs, costs, invoices, safety records, coaching, and a reliability score.
Scored only on what he controls: Attendance vs. crew norm (30%), Clock Integrity (25%), Safety Participation (25%), Recognition (20%). Jordan's drivers: 14 shifts vs. a crew norm of 20, 2 off-site punches, 1 auto-closed shift.
Coaching · EN
"Hey Jordan — your hustle on Floor 14 didn't go unnoticed. Two things this week: clock out at the end of every shift, and punch in at the jobsite instead of on the way there. Signing the daily JHA is the fastest way to lift your safety pillar."
Coaching · ES
"Jordan, buen trabajo en el piso 14. Esta semana: marca salida al final de cada turno y marca entrada en la obra, no en el camino. Firmar el JHA diario sube tu puntaje de seguridad más rápido."
Coaching tips surface automatically for any pillar under 80 — plain language, no surprise math.
The Worker Reliability Score
DropShield computes a rolling 90-day composite from data the platform already captures — completed work orders, inspection quality, time-clock integrity, pre-trip DVIRs, equipment stewardship, and peer Kudos.
Catching a real defect raises your score. Receiving Kudos raises your score. There's no surprise math — every worker can see exactly which signals drove their number, and exactly how to raise it.

Worker Reliability Score · 90 days
A time-only worker — a "crew member" — is a first-class record wired into 15+ systems. One 4-digit PIN links them to hours, jobs, costs, invoices, safety records, coaching, and a reliability score.
Time-only workers don't run inspections, DVIRs, or work orders. Scoring them on the licensed-user model would punish them for data they cannot produce. Window: rolling last 90 days. Minimum data gate: no score displays until the worker has 5+ shifts in the window — until then the card shows "X/5 shifts — not enough data."
Do they show up, relative to your crew's own norm
(their shifts ÷ crew median shifts) × 100, capped at 100. Working more than the norm does not inflate the score — that's overtime exposure, not reliability.
Honest, clean punches
Weighted blend: 45% shifts closed properly (they clocked out), 30% clean closes (no auto-close or manual correction), 25% on-site punches (not clocked in off-site).
Are they engaged in safety
Base 60; +10 per JHA/toolbox sign-off (capped at +40, so 4+ sign-offs earn full credit); +5 if a site orientation is on file; −12 per incident (capped at −25).
Positive-only signal
0 kudos = 70 (neutral baseline), 1 = 78, 2 = 88, 3+ = 100. Zero kudos is never a penalty.

Coaching, not punishment
Any pillar under 80 automatically surfaces a plain-language coaching tip (up to 3 shown):
Attendance
"Consistent attendance against the crew's normal schedule is the single biggest driver here."
Clock Integrity
"Clock out at the end of every shift and punch in at the jobsite, not on the way there."
Safety
"Signing the daily JHA / toolbox talk is the fastest way to raise this pillar."
Every sub-score displays its own weight, its raw factors — "18 shifts across 16 days · Crew norm: 20 shifts", "2 off-site punches" — and the score itself, so the number is fully explainable to the worker.
DropShield's AI works alongside your foreman and every worker — surfacing positive coaching moments, drafting work orders and jobsite summaries, capturing receipts, and answering plain-English questions from your own compliance record. Every interaction is measurable and improves over time.
A conversational AI button anywhere in the app. "Which harnesses failed this quarter?" "Show DVIR defects on truck F-204." "Who's due for a fall-pro refresher?" — plain-English answers from your own data, never trained on it externally.
Positive, in-app coaching moments triggered by real signals — a missed step, a late clock-in, a great inspection. Bilingual, encouraging tone, tailored to the worker (user or time-only). Managers stay in the loop without playing bad cop.
Every coaching moment logs a baseline and tracks the follow-through. Did DVIR quality improve? Did on-time clock-ins go up? Did failed inspections drop? Coaching turns from a conversation into a measurable engagement metric.
Voice note, photo, or a two-line description — AI drafts a scoped work order with materials, labor lines, and suggested pricing. You review, approve, and send as a branded PDF. Field-fast, office-professional.
Snap a fuel, parts, rental or tow receipt. AI pulls the vendor, amount, tax and category, then pins it to the correct jobsite or vehicle automatically — no more shoebox of paper at month-end.
Jobsite summaries, incident narratives, inspection follow-ups, and shift briefings — pre-drafted by AI, edited by you. The point isn't AI for its own sake; it's giving your foreman back an hour every day.
Recognize the people doing it right
Anyone on the team can send a Kudo to any user or Crew Member in five categories. Kudos feed into the Worker Reliability Score and roll up into recognition reports for end-of-quarter reviews.
